The Cubanos are delicious. They do not skimp on the deliciously seasoned pernil (pork). Their quesitos are huge.

I just wanted to leave some feedback on my purchases from yesterday..it was my first time in and I purchased a gf/sf pretzel less salad and a pineapple upside down cake. WOW!! My intention was to make these desserts last a few days because I generally eat very balanced and healthy. Well, the pretzel salad is goneand I'm not sure the pineapple upside cake will last another day!! Phenomenal taste and quality. This bakery definitely is something special! Do yourself a favor and follow them on FB so you can purchase and pick up same day

Probably my quickest time from ordering to reviewing! Absolutely devoured a fantastic beef empanada as an appetizer, followed by the Cuban Controversial sandwich. Taking a step back, the woman working behind the counter was friendly and professional, service was quick, even though they were busy after the traditional lunch rush. (About 2pm on a Thursday) Restaurant is nice and clean. Display case is full of some of the nicest desserts I've seen. We're on a road trip, I appreciated that the food was packed nicely. I would have preferred to sit down and really enjoy but I ended up eating in the back seat. The Cuban Controversial sandwich is served on a sweet sandwich roll, that's the perfect complement to the tender pork, pickles, cheese, and mustard. Absolutely loved the sandwich! Definitely worth a stop on a future trip.

Saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. We had the pernil plate and tried a few empanadas. The food was good and the place was clean.

Fabulous traditional Latin foods for lunch or dinner, in individual or party size portions. But I go for the amazing baked goods! This is a bakery that gets both the cake and the frosting right. Moist cake and fluffy frosting without that greasy follow up in your mouth. As with the meals, you can get a whole cake or a slice. For my birthday I got the beautifully presented single serving strawberry cake with lemon frosting - highly recommended. The ding dong cake did not disappoint, with a perfect whipped creamy center offsetting a dark chocolate cake. Finally a mildly spiced carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was a delicious version of this classic. They take phone orders for food and bakery items. An additional room offers a tea service and a few tables if you'd rather eat in. I first encountered this place when the current owners were building the business. A lovely woman who was the owner's mother, bursting with maternal pride, gave me a tour and made me promise to come back after the opening. I'm so glad I did!

From the name of the restaurant I couldn't tell what kind of food they served. We had empanadas and pernil platter that included rice. They included a free chalupa for us. Large portion sizes. House baked goods. The pernil was juicy and nice flavor. They were very busy with take out orders. They do have a few tables where you can eat in. Unexpected and delicious.

OMG! Found my new fav lunch / breakfast place. We ordered empanada, Cubano Controvers, and a Tripleta. They were savory and tender. Best I've ever had. We also had a selection of pastries including a SF/GF cake my Mom was able to eat. Already planning my next visit when my siblings arrive this week. We took our food to go, but there are a few tables available.

Nowadays rarely does a place exceed my expectations...But My Sister's Fault in Milford Delaware is worth every minute of traffic and detours in an effort to enjoy their delicious food! We eagerly placed an online order yesterday morning for a Taste Of My Island box, a Mixed Box of Empanadas, 2 loaves of pan sobao and 2 desserts. Using "Hora Boricua" I estimated 2.5 hours till lunch. Well almost 3 hours later we arrived worried that our food would be soggy - NOPE! Everything was still hot, crunchy, and delicious. Forget about any leftovers to bring home....so I hit the dessert case! Limoncello blueberry cake (I was cautioned it contains liquor - Even Better!), pastelillos de guayaba, quesitos, guava cake & 2 My Sister's Fault Coffees hot (café con leche condensada y canela)- yup that's what I ordered. Damn if that coffee wasn't the perfect amount of tartness to balance the sweetness. We rolled out of the place happy, full & content - just like I used to leave my Abuela Zulema's house in Camuy, PR! Thank you for bringing a taste of my childhood to Southern Delaware. I'll certainly be back with lots of friends!

This was my first time walking around downtown Milford and love the small shops and tavern. My friend recommended this place and she knows I love Porto Rican food. It's fast casual so you order then you come pick up your food when your name is called. There are tables to eat at and plastic utensils. Food comes in styrofoam containers ( not the best for environment) . Thanks ordered the beef empanada platter - 3 big ones with rice/pigeon peas. Delish! Love the Porto Rican spices. Side of plantains cooked perfect. We missed out on the fresh deserts all sold out- next time for sure. Homemade hot sauce available to purchase in condiment containers. I got the habanero sauce- deliciousness! Must stop back when I visit! Support your local businesses- the family was super nice!
